Campaign Budget: What Should I Choose?

Quick guide on how the budgeting works, and what we recommend you to spend on your campaigns.

The campaign budgeting in Adline is very simple. You can either choose a lifetime budget or a daily budget. Here’s how it works.

In Adline you can have multiple channels (e.g. Facebook and Google) in the same campaign. This enables Adline to optimize your ad budget across both channels and ads. The Adline algorithms will move the budget to the best-performing ads.

You need a decent ad spend to leverage this optimization. Here's how you should plan your budget:

  1. Lifetime budget: If you choose a lifetime budget for your campaign, we charge the whole amount in advance. The lifetime budget will be allocated and spread out on the whole period you set. Let’s say you want to start your campaign on July 10th and run it until July 30th (20 days), and with a daily budget of $30. In this case, you will have to pay $600 USD.
  2. Daily budget: If you choose a daily budget and let it run continuously, we will charge the budget weekly. If you set a start and end date, we will charge the daily budget times the equal period.

What Budget Do You Recommend?

How aggressively do you want to grow your business? How much are you willing to pay to get a new customer? These are the questions you need to answer first.

We recommend spending approximately $7-10 dollars daily per ad as a minimum. We recommend having a minimum of 2 ads per channel (2 Google, 2 Facebook). This would then be $40 dollars a day.  The most important thing to remember is that the "learning phase" is extremely important. Hence, you should spend enough to collect sufficient amounts of data for our algorithms.

The learning phase can take up to 14 days. That is why we recommend spending a bare minimum of $30 dollars per day for 14 days.

Avoid: Spending $5 dollars a day won't get you anywhere. 

We Charge Regularly To Fill Up Your Ad Balance

When you've spent all the ad spend the balance in your account, we charge again to refill your balance with the new budget. Make sure to have funds available on your card. If we can't charge you, your campaigns will stop.

Alternatively, you can choose to fill up your account with as much ad spend as you want. You will then minimize the amount of receipts/invoices.
