Quick guide on how the budgeting works in Adline, and what we recommend you to spend on your campaigns.
The campaign budgeting in Adline is based on a set of rules that will ensure your campaigns perform. You can either choose a lifetime budget or a daily budget. Here’s how it works.
In Adline you can have multiple channels and formats (e.g. Facebook Image Ad and Google Search Ad) inside the very same campaign.
This enables Adline to optimize your ad budget across multiple channels. The Adline algorithms will move the budget to the best-performing ads across both Facebook and Google.
There is a minimum daily budget you need to follow to leverage this optimization.
Here's how it works:

$5 dollars per format/channel per day in a campaign.

$2 dollars extra per ad per day in a campaign.
Example with 2 formats x 2 ads:
A campaign that consists of 2 Facebook Ads and 2 Google Search Ads, will have the following minimum daily budget;

Total minimum daily budget: $18/day
Example with 3 ad formats:
A campaign that consists of 2 Facebook Ads and 2 Google Search Ads and 2 Google Responsive Ads, will have the following minimum daily budget;

Total daily budget: $27/day
You can select either Lifetime budget or Daily budget:
- Lifetime budget: If you choose a lifetime budget for your campaign, we charge the whole amount in advance. The lifetime budget will be allocated and spread out over the whole period you set. Let’s say you want to start your campaign on July 10th and run it until July 30th (20 days), with a daily budget of $30. In this case, you will have to pay $600 USD. (20 days x $30)
- Run continuously: If you choose a daily budget and Run continuously, we will charge the budget weekly in advance. $20 x 7 days = $140 weekly charge.
What Budget Do You Recommend?
How aggressively do you want to grow your business? How much are you willing to pay to get a new customer? These are the questions you need to answer first.
We recommend having a minimum of 2 ads per channel (2 Google, 2 Facebook). This would then be a minimum of $27 a day.
The most important thing to remember is that the "learning phase" is extremely important. Hence, you should spend enough to collect sufficient amounts of data for our algorithms.
The learning phase can take up to 14 days. The more you spend, the faster it will go because of the increased data we're able to collect.
What Happens With Unspent Ad Budget?
When you stop a campaign in the middle of the period, we will add any remaining ad budget to your ad balance. You can find your ad balance here: https://prod.adline.com/orders
